Functional orthosis for the graduated support of the lumbar and lower thoracic spine
LumboPlus provides emergency treatment in the event of a prolapse (intervertebral disk prolapse) or muscular degeneration. It acts as a pressure-relieving support from the lumbar spine to the lower thoracic spine using eight to ten corset stays in an anatomical knit. The supporting effect of LumboPlus on the spine extends from the lumbar region to below the shoulder blades. This effect is promoted by a grid of lightweight aluminum corset stays. The corset stays can be individually shaped for an anatomically perfect fit. The compression effect on the abdomen also relieves the spine.

The LPT (Low Power Tension) tensioning strap system with practical finger pockets and Velcro straps allows the LumboPlus to be fitted without a great deal of effort. The breathable, skin-friendly material is so flat that the orthosis is barely noticeable under the clothing.
