It's Protected. A dual protection system consists of a float shut-off in the canister lid and an Inline Hydrophobic Filter to prevent back flow of fluid as well as airborne contaminants from entering the pump.
It's Durable. The Easy Vac has a protective canister bracket which not only holds the canister but also protects the gauge and adjustment knob from accidents.
